The church that Issac Ketchum built is on Dean St, two blocks South of main st.
Centreville MI. It was a single story church but at some point was lifted up and a first
story was built underneath.
It was originally a Dutch Reform church but latter became Presbyterian. It remained as such until it was purchased by the Masons around 1970. It was a Masonic Lodge up until a few years ago and now stands empty.

The" Reverends Chair" was donated by John Walpole Talbot (Issac Ketchum's son in-law
and my great great Grandfather.) It later became the Mason's "Masters Chair" and was
used as such until the lodge closed. It was then returned to my family and reunited with
its matching settee.
Love to talk local history any time.

Alan,

I'm having fun learning about my Droid X, but I think I have my hands full with my current projects. Despite being an IT manager (or maybe because of it) I don't usually think of new technological toys as fun. They're work. My Droid X is an exception at the moment, but I wouldn't be able to give other phones the kind of useful attention they'd need.

Dear John,

I read your post about the Droid X. I work with Verizon Wireless in Michigan and wondered if you would be interested in trialing new smartphones in the future. We give you a phone for a week or so, you try it, then you can either write about it or not. What do you think. Email or call me to let me know.
