At the end of September we stayed at this place in Fort Loramie, Ohio, for five days of bicycle riding. The Dairy King is the only motel in town, and it worked out very well for us. The price was very reasonable — for four nights it came to something like $35/night — and our room was neat, roomy, and clean. You go to the ice cream window to check in. The rooms are in the back.
If I could count on northeast winds like we had for part of our stay, I’d consider using this as a base camp for some rides to eastern Indiana next year.
